Description

A piece of classic textile design that never goes out of fashion. The textile was originally developed at the Royal Military Cloth Factory, which produced textiles and clothing for the army and navy. It was then used for horse blankets in the Gardehusar regiment in Slotsholmen. After the closure of the Royal Military Clothing Factory in the 1960s, Schaumanns Clothing Factory took over the rights and production of the textile. As a result, it became a popular furniture textile, with which, among other things, the cushions in Børge Mogensen's famous sofas can be decorated.In 1995, Danish Art Weaving took over the production and rights to the historic textile, which now gives FDB Møbler cushions a classic look.
